Remaking a long blouse from a ro (silk gauze) kimono

I received a summer ro weave kimono and tailored it into a single-layer long blouse.
The transparency of the ro kimono fabric is one of its most charming features. I deliberately made it as a single layer without lining. Depending on what you wear underneath, it can be styled either casually or more formally. The front center has a clean seam with one button at the neck. The flowing silhouette is absolutely lovely. Of course, it can be hand-washed, making it a perfect layer for protection against air conditioning or direct sunlight during the hot summer months!
