Remaking a coat from kimono fabric

Hello. This is Rurimon, specializing in kimono remakes. I borrowed the client's own coat as a sample and remade it into a half coat. The sample was a wonderful coat that can be worn in three ways. I made it the same style, same size, and attached the lining in the same way, but when it was finished, it looked completely different—which is quite fascinating. The sample coat was beige wool, but this kimono fabric is lightweight and seems suitable for wearing across a long season. I learned so much from seeing how much the image can change even with the same design! Thank you very much!
