Remake a bag from an obi

Hello, this is Gallery Rurimon in Aoba-dai, Yokohama, specializing in kimono remakes and kimono refashioning. We received a black obi with a textured pattern and remade it into a bag. Rurimon strives to accept all orders as fully custom-made pieces. For bags as well, we do our best to accommodate your preferences regarding width, height, gusset depth, handle length, and other specifications. This order was for "a handbag like a paper bag." We created a wide gusset with firm creases so it would stand up on its own. The overall size was made according to the customer's wishes.
We were able to deliver it today. The first words out of their mouth were, "It's a paper bag!" They were delighted. This is the most rewarding moment for us!
