Remaking a beaded accessory pouch from a black belt

Hello! This is Rurimon, a kimono-to-Western clothing remake studio based in Aobadai, Yokohama.
A customer who had previously requested a bag remake from a black obi asked us to also create a juzu (prayer bead) pouch from the remaining fabric. It's something like a slightly oversized pouch. Since there wasn't quite enough patterned fabric left, we incorporated plain black fabric to complete the design.
Using the obi that had belonged to their late mother, the entire family now has matching bags, juzu pouches, and more — what a wonderful family they are!
Knowing that their mother must be smiling down on them filled our hearts with warmth as well. Thank you so much!
